Well, if you have followed my blog you know I started off with one cat, Fluff Puff. Then we coaxed in a stray kitty, and we named him Tuffy. Tuffy's mother is a stray and she had another litter of kittens this past spring in the woods across the street from our house. Since the summer we have been feeding 2 of those kitties. The kitties are extremely timid, but have gotten much braver in the past week. Yesterday and again this morning, I opened my kitchen sliding door and put a dish of food on the kitchen floor. Both of those kitties came into the house and ate from the dish. I think we will soon have 2 more cats. Good thing Tom and I love cats. We haven't been able to see if these are male or female kitties, but we would like to get them into the house, and brought to a vet before there are more kittens running around.
I spent the afternoon Christmas shopping with my friend Betty Ann. Betty Ann called this morning to see if I wanted to go to J. C. Penney with her. We did really well. Everything we bought was on sale, and then we had an extra 30% off coupon that was good on all of the purchases. I just love bargains. Now, to go and start making supper...homemade clam chowder.
Cute kitties! And, my mouth is watering at the thought of homemade clam chowder.
ReplyDeleteI know you love your cats and that is wonderful...I'm terribly allergic to them so try to avoid them. How great that you and Betty Ann had a great day Christmas shopping and love the bargins you found! Diann
