I had a nice surprise this morning when I picked up a brown paper bag that was in the bottom of a plastic tote. Inside I found a 1/2 yard of Laurel Burch mermaid fabric that I didn't realize I had. Also in the bag was a yard of a dark blue background mermaid fabric and less than a 1/2 yard of another fabric with mermaids that has a lighter background. As you can see in the photo's, I didn't iron the fabric before taking the photos.
I think I will make a small mermaid pillow, and try felting in the hair.
I have errands to run today, but maybe I will at least get started on my project.
We woke up to a dusting of snow this morning, but the snow is already melting as the sun is shining. I can't believe the crazy weather we have had this winter. Yesterday when I was taking my dad to do errands I saw a forsythia bush in full bloom. That is unheard of for February in Massachusetts.

I love mermaids. I used to have the Laurel Burch fabric but used it all up; I miss it. I haven't seen the others; they look great. Your pillow will be beautiful; I look forward to seeing pictures.
Hooray, don't you love when you find something long forgotten like that? I know mermaids are favorites of yours, what a nice surprise!
