Something happened to me this morning that has never happened before. I hard boiled some large brown eggs this morning. I always add a little cider vinegar to the water, as I had heard that it makes peeling the cooked eggs shells come off easier.
When the eggs had cooled down, and I took the eggs out of the cold water the brown color of the eggs started to come off on my fingers. In the photo above you can see where my fingers grabbed the eggs, and on the others where the brown started to wipe off, one eggshell lost a lot of the brown color. So very, very strange. Has anyone ever had this happen to them? This was a first for me.
