This card has a gold and maroon red ribbon on the left side of the green cardstock. Glitter glue in the center of the flower.
This afternoon I thought I should make a start on creating some holiday/Christmas cards if I didn't want to be rushing around like a mad woman the 3rd week of December. The cards are pretty basic, but when you have to make over 50, I don't get to fancy. Do you make any or all of your holiday cards? Some years I make them all, other years a few, and sometimes I just have to send out store bought cards.
So of course when I started to gather my supplies, I couldn't find the papers and embellishments I was looking for, but the following cards that I created are at least a start. Naturally, the sun went in when I wanted to photograph my cards. All of the cards have a rubber stamped greeting inside.
1/2 circle that sticks up out of card with a bubble shaker piece attached to the 1/2 circle. The basic card has layers of cardstock. Striped red/white paper that has a green strip of cardstock layered on top of it. Then a smaller piece of gold glitter paper that isn't showing up that well with my rubber stamped phrase on card stock.
Layered Santa card with glitter glue on the hat and on the tree topper.
layered papers and a bubble sticker with Silent Night on the right bottom.
glitter gold paper layered onto green cardstock. The lady with the muff is layered onto handmade paper. The mauve paper with gold flakes is paper I made several years ago. I had a small piece left to use on this card. I also have a couple of other holiday cards and Christmas tags started, and I will share those with you when I get them finished.
While I was looking out the window, I snapped a quick photo of a cardinal in my old covered feeder.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I am still getting use to the time change. Have a great week.
