These are the last of my weekend photos. (you can see the others in prevoius posts) Over the weekend we stopped at several Cape beaches. There were lots of other people taking advantage the gorgeous weather this late into October.
Some were sunning, others walking and some were walking their dogs. I looked for shells.
Some men were involved in some type of parasailing or paragliding. I'm not really sure what this sport is called, but it looked like a lot of fun. The men had large kites of some type with a gasoline powered propeller strapped to their backs. They would start the engine, wait for a wind and run towards the beach and then they were airborne and enjoying the beach from the air. The sails were controlled by cords. The photos below were taken at Mayflower Beach in Dennis. Most of the photos were taken looking into the sun so the sky isn't bright blue in all of the pictures.
Sandy Neck in Barnstable. With permits campers can camp on the beach

at low tide you can walk out for a very long way. This beach has great sand and no rocks.

I enjoyed my weekend away. It was nice to relax and just enjoy the warm weather.

I love Cape Cod, too, Elaine...Your photos are fabulous and make me long for a visit myself...It has been so long since I've been to the Cape..The several pics at the bottom make me want to get my watercolors out and do a painting...Maybe I will..
Beautiful!
