front cover I was going thru some boxes this morning, and came across this little round book that I made in 1997. How do I know it was that long ago, I found the date written in the book. Time sure flies.
I have a lot of coffee themed rubber stamps and they have been well used over the years. The closed book kind of looks like a chocolate chip cookie, don't you think? :-)
I cut out round circles from cardboard for the covers. I crinkled kraft paper bags to glue over the cardboard covers. The pages for the book were smaller circles of kraft paper cardstock with brown inked around the edges of each page. The pages had to be scored/folded and glued together so the books pages would accordion fold close. I rubber stamped all the pages and the covers. Then, I lined up the pages and the covers to punch my holes so waxed twine could be threaded thru with ease. I added some clay beads to the end of each twine piece. The book ties closed.

Sadly, Expressions magazine is no longer in publication.
I haven't made a circle book in a long time, but they are easy and fun to put together.
